how much did you buy the rs2 for if you dont mind me asking?

Well it depends on what they sold the part ex for but over £20000.

I figured it's worth 25 plus when it's complete given that the ones for sale haven't sold at 40 plus and this one doesn't have any service history and is high ownership. I don't mind the work though as it's a hobby/future investment if I keep it long enough.

No update either sadly, I've been busy with work and other projects at the moment.

Would anyone be interested in this for £20000.

My business situation has changed and I don't think I'll have the time to put it back together.

The subframes and most of the components are powder coated and fully poly bushed.

Everything that isn't bolted to the car is in boxes and 99% of the parts are there, it was only stripped for recommissioning but the previous owner passed away half way through the process being undertaken by a local garage.

Any rust underneath was wire brushed, converted and painted with epoxy zinc primer, there were only a couple of small areas that needed it then the whole underneath has been stoned chipped and painted in body colour.

I'm not desperate to sell it, just giving someone else an opportunity to purchase a bit of Audi history.
