My silver RS2 Project

So, here we go again! Another epic Tractor Dave thread incoming
When Dan from Swansea advertised his project, I really couldn't resist. I'm only an hour away and the Rs2 is currently the only early S car I haven't taken on (Sport Quattro aside).
It's a 1995 car. Everything is more or less there and it has low mileage. A few rusty bits here and there but nothing major and hopefully she won't need a full re spray.
Here are a few pics of me collecting this morning. We got home just before the nasty weather kicked in.
Im very grateful to Dan for letting me have her and for his help loading up today.

So I've been taking it easy as I've had a bug or something nasty.
But I did manage to clean and treat the leather. It was very dry so I saw this as a priority. The car has been off the road for about 8 years.
First a good clean



Then when dry a good feed



I did want to see what shocks I have. They didn't come out without a fight.





Appear to be from 2003.


They are working but unfortunately corroded at the tops and will be replaced.
