Sorry to labour the point, so there is no way the wishbones can be fitted upside down? Are they interchangeable left to right? Do the front ones look like this one? 028C53C9-4DDC-4BD3-A149-18B708E67D07.jpeg

Yes, these are the one's. We will try to flip it round tomorrow just for sake of it and see what it does. It's just so frustrating I'm using a well known set-up yet somehow manage to come by problems no-one has... well at least the electrics is done and she runs, and the interior should be finished relatively soon

If someone running similar set-up could confirm to me that the s2 suspension moves the front wheel to the front in the arch and could hint to what they did about it, that would be great.

Do you see where I’m coming from? Flip the passenger side over then rotate it to the driver’s side? That should move the wheel back but everything that is attached to the wishbone needs to be swapped over as well!

With the help of my German friend, we have established that the suspension is installed correctly, and indeed the front wheels move forward by about 20mm.

              Good stuff. Glad you’re sorted.

Yes, and here is why it happens:

Yeah, now need to decide on the wheel set-up.

Does this change your castor angle?

                  • Yes, basically tilts the strut, which should be good for handling. Potentially can increase it further by fitting offset solid top mounts.

                    • Keep in mind that when you change caster angle - you also change the maximal angles of your wheels turn (comparing to the stock ones) and then your outer CV joints will have more load.
