Tick, Tock
Have been tough lately, cold as F in the garage and blah blah blah
Gearboxmount , more or less done. A little trimming during the week and it will be good enough.
After that we test fitted the engine again . Good news is that the "new" pan works with the cooler. But that was not unexpected.
What was more interesting was the this area.
I moved the air filter as far as I dared , and now it fits in the car!
But obviously I can forget making the snorkel and preassurepipes fit...
Honestly speaking I'd like some suggestions regarding this, because I do not really know where to begin to solve this. My simplest solution right now is to simply build a snorkel/Pipes. But I'm not sure what the registration-people will say...
As usual it is baby steps forward, but as I said I like suggestions / opinions about the airfilter-situation. Even if what you are thinking is not perfect, maybe it makes me think in the right lanes anyway, so don't be shy

Someone pointed out that I might be able to flip the lid backwards and do it kinda like this.

Thanks Simon. This year I'll go with VEMS, TFSI Coils, K26 Billet Turbo, 3 Inch Downpipe & Exhaust, etc.. I wonder how much HP the OEM 10VT Exhaustmanifold will do. We will see in April.
Go on LeafBox, driving the MC in a B-Chassis do a lot of fun.Audi Coupe Typ89 10V Turbo - VEMS - Billet K26 - Deka 630 - E85 - 3" Exhaust
