Driving down the M1 today and suddenly noticed that my battery warning light was glowing somewhat. A quick look at the volt gauge indicated a low 11.5 volts instead of the usual 13.5 volts. At this point i started to crap myself as I was about 100 miles from home and it had started to Pi55 down big time.
Anyway, I've taken the alternator off now and nothing seems to be broke on it although it was making a weird noise on idle when I pulled up outside of my house earlier. I'll probably just try and get an exchange Bosch one tomorrow
Anyone else suffered something similar?
