Bit of a long shot but I need the low pressure port from a Zexel Compressor ( as pictured below and used on most 5 Cylinder setup from the late eighties to late nineties). The cap had sized on mine and a ham fisted removal ended up with the body snapping in two. Does any one have a broken compressor that still has this part on ? Or does any one know where they can be purchased ? I would be willing to take a punt on one that has the cover seized on as once removed I think I can free the cap off and still be left with the thread in tact.
As a side note the previous info about using this as a low pressure injection point is debatable, I have spoken to various air con experts and nitrogen supply guru’ s (we use quite a bit of Nitrogen at work) and they all say the same thing, this is a test port to check pressure and although it could be used as a refill point it is not ideally located and could cause damage to the pump internals.
