  • Cabrio Brake booster convertion

    Hi,

Looking for some help here again
I own a 1.9TDI cabrio. On stock it uses single chamber vacuum brake booster with 23mm MC, that I find very "weak" for the weight of the car.

I bought a brake booster and MC allegedly from an A8 D2. Done the adapter em installation myself, it was an easy fit.
The problem is that I can't bleed the brakes (procedure that I have done many times), the front left and rear right brakes will pump fluid out, but the other two will not.

Knowing that on original setup the MC sends pressure from two chambers by two pipes to abs module, that cross connect all 4 wheels with one pipe each, I proceed to test the "new" MC and find out that it only pressurize the top exit. I think that why I only have pressure on the said wheels.
Another thing that I found strange was the MC has one M10x1 and one M12x1 exit.

I do own a C4 S4 and the abs module its different from cabrio.

    Any insight on this?
    Thanks!
