    Hi Rocco

No one seems to really understand our addiction and I'm starting to thing that we're soul mates.

I haven't really drove my car with these brakes. It have been in the garage in the air and just gotten bigger and bigger brakes. from 944 turbo S to RS6 C5 to 380mm MTM with Audi Ceramic calipers back to Phaeton 365mm and now 390mm RS6 c6.

at the moment the engine is built to RS2-specs with a 350 hp chip. So nothing fancy really. I would like to build for 500-600 but nothing is decided about that.

My pccb brakes were told to be flawless and new but as seen on the pictures they were heavily damaged. Sure, the discs were brand new and never fitted on a car but the damage to them were so severe that it would have been dangerous to fit them on the car. I had to drag the guy who sold them to court to get my money back and even though I won I lost 700 EUR on costs for lawyer etc... Sad story.

and i will use the 19"s with 400x38 discs in the other car, with the Audi Ceramic calipers

we will see how it works....

Generic reply: thanks for the kind words guys! and yes, it is insane and more the overkill. For me it's about the looks and it is an addiction. I hope this was the last upgrade because I don't want 20 inch wheels on the car.

    Hey Rocco

    Calipers are RS6 C6 5.0 v10.

The ceramics will go up for sale around summertime when I'm done with fitting the v10s.

The discs weigh A LOT! Around 15kg a pcs. Yeah, that's insane but it looks good. =)

What's the process of getting it homologated? Don't think that's possible in Sweden. =/

The wheels are indeed 19". No way to get 390mm inside of 18". I had to upgrade to 19" when I bought the 380mm MTM discs.

    Thanks for the kind words!

i have mine brakes homologated¡¡¡¡ i´ve paid 450€ for the homologation of my 235/35/19´s ,Brembos brakes front and rear (without specifitation if they are 300x32 or 400x38) + my sparco milano seats so now i can upgrade or downgrade everything with the brakes without TUV or Police problems.

Hehe. There was a link in my original post to irry.com where there are looked of pics, like the firs picture here:

    A few more

And in the spec of the car the wheels are listed as:
RH Alurad AH Turbo 19x8.5" (Porsche Turbo-replica) with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 225/35ZR19.

At the rear I'm working on getting the RS4 b7s mounted.

I got the front one apeshit cheap. around 900 EUR for the calipers with all replaceable parts included ont
he side (pads, pistons, seals etc). The discs costed me 740 EUR from the great guys at www.bhv-Handel.de

You got any decent pictures of your car with those rims on

And out of interest how much would this setup roughly set someone back and what would you match it with at the rear?

+1 for the weight saving... this is a lot saving ,wining theorically confortability, acceleration, brake performance...

but anyway after all,i never saw my current brakes with fadding or something similar...and i was stoping the car in trackdays with 240km/h to 60km/h many times...and 0 problems.

but i am complete sure that surelly with 350x34 and 4 pot calipers will be enough

i bought the PCCB discs because they were a bargain... and if someday have a problem with them i will reinstall my current brakes or something smaller why not
