Hi all,
I did an evening drive with the RS2 yesterday and suddenly at standstill
I noticed that I could push the brake pedal all the way down. Drove further
and when driving the braking itself was OK.
Later in my garage it still got down to the floor and when pumping it quickly
the pedal started to pulse. Pushing it down to the floor was still possible.
Opened the bonnet and found that the PAS reservoir was leaking on the hose
that goes to the pump via the ribbled cooler-hose. I had tightened that clamp
a few times before since it had been leaking ever so slightly, but now it was a
big mess. OEM hose is backorder, but seems like a 15mm hose so could just replace it with standard hose.
Put it aside since i didn't want to damage my master brake cylinder, but I presume
these 2 problems are connected somehow?
