My Coupe has the on-board computer which displays among other things the instantaneous fuel consumption.
All the other items seem to work apart from the current MPG.
Occasionally the speedo stops working. ( same problem as Porkkis?).
My car is a Coupe quattro 20V 1990 23K miles ( I've had this problem since 7K miles.
I was told that the problem may be linked to the ABS sensors in that the road speed info may come from them rather than via the speedo pick up.
I have taken out the abs sensors, cleaned and re-seated them. Since then the abs warning light has come on all the time.
Do ABS sensors have anything to do with the Computer?
Is there a specific way to align the ABS sensors?
( there is a white line on them, does this have to line up with the drive shaft teeth?
