Permanant Reverse lights

I have currently have no bulbs inthe reverse lights as when fitted they stay on. Any ideas what it might be?

Reverse light switch perhaps? Or wireing short at the switch or on the lamp assemblys?

Would say knackered switch probably the most likely, not sure where its at on the Audis though.

My bet would be the reverse light switch on the gearbox stuck closed.

It's on the drivers side just behind the drive shaft, you need to get to it from the side.

Mines the same but opposite, got no reverse lights at all. Need to get to that switch and check it out before i reverse into something at night
