I think the next step for me is to re-chome the relectors on mine

Not cheap but looking at the before and after pics, it's got to make a big difference.

You can't use HID on the main beam as HID's don't like to be turned off and on. You can only have HID main beam on cars designed with it from the beginning with a "flap", i.e. Bi Zenons.....

im thinking, if they are better than the halogen lights they should work. I have emailed them about the resistor use, and take it from there.

High beam which is what i want (not fogs), and you dont really care if it glares the opposite side, as you know it does anyway. So the more intence and far it goes, the better.

I'd be interested to see what they look like in the fog lights. It does say in the notes that they are not suitable for main or dipped beam applications though.

the problem you get with the HIDs on the high beam is that they take a long time to heat up in order to provide the amount of light you need. I know, i have a second set of HIDs which i never used for this purpose and just used the halogen bulbs instead. Most of the times, the high beam doesnt stay on continuesly anyway.

Slighty O/T but HID kits are now up to 75W and 100W, on searching Youtube I found this!

    Ellispoid question

    Hi all,

can someone remind me , the rs2 headlamps use H1/H1 bulbs, isnt that right?

and the fog lights are H3 bulbs, right??

I have been noticing a lot of LED type bulbs that id like to try, instead of the usual filament ones. I have HIDs for many years, and i dont use any HIDs for the fogs, as i have specific yellow tinted bulbs for that. However i want to try and use some LED bulbs for the high beam to get a bit more out of them.

    anywone ever tried them?

    thanks
