Mine is not a vagcom. Its an independed hand held ecu reader with obd and 2x2 cable connection and works fine with reading and erasing all codes. Its called vag reader and works like a treat.

The problem is like other audi forums there are a lot of people with non genuine vcds/vagcom which clearly any reputable forum shouldn't promote
