Yep, their early 3B lights, I may have the trim knocking about still from my car.

I'd try to use them even without having the correct trim, surely the later trims can be made to fit? The headlights look in good shape and give better lighting than the elipsoid headlights.

    Thanks!

Anyone need some? Or happen have that trim piece they want to ship to the US!?

They're kind of useless to me as is. Shame I didn't notice the lack of tabs when I bought them.

That trim was only fitted on the earlier 3Bs AFAIK, maybe some very early face lift coupes but I've only ever seen them on 3B S2s.
Around 92 they changed to the individual under headlight trims.
Those lights you pictures are 100% the facelift "B4" lights, not the early "B3" pre-facelift.
    HTH.

    To answer my own question:

    "normal" b3 trim is part number 893 853 201 pictured #16 here:

The trim I'm looking for is part number 8G0 853 201 pictured here #12:

Here's a pic in real life:

So if these are B4 style for 91-92 coupes - what trim was under them that didn't interfere with the B4 hood?

B3 with missing grill tabs (should be on the inner side at top)

The second pic shows headlamps for early B3 cars with the bonnet/hood grille set between the headlights, i.e., pre-facelifted cars, later B3's have the so-called B4 bonnet/hood.

I would say non s2 coupe.

My 3b coupe had the single piece trim.

I had some B3 One-piece headlights (PICTURED BELOW) and they were different - more square:

AGAIN, these are B3 one piece and NOT the one's I'm trying to identify
