Nice looking engine bay by the way, not sure the colour scheme is for me but that's a personal choice.
Thanks buddy. It looks a lot better in person. The colour is a personal choice for sure. My kids love it. The breather works really good ... so far.

I'm running a Vibrant Catch can on my URS4. Venting to atmosphere with 1 line from the crank breather and 1 from the center of a 7A valve cover. No drain to sump.

It's working well, no issues right now. My car is a built engine on 257sxe turbo pushing 23psi on pump right now.

I couldn't find any photo's of my old breather arrangement, however I found the complete system hiding in a box of parts yesterday whilst starting to clear the attic. Will post photos soon.

The system is for sale though it's designed for 3B's, could be made to work on an ABY however.
Can take some better photos later, this one just happens to be on my phone...

I've had to go out this morning but when I get home I'll see what I can find for you. After a bit of trial and error I was happy with the system, it could have looked a bit more tidy but it worked and I always go for function over form.

Theres no chance of me finding them on my phone, I can barely turn the bloody thing on.

I didn't like any of the affordable options on the market so I made my own baffled catch can out of an old alloy air-con drier tank using AN fittings and hoses. I routed the exit for the clean(er) gases back to the MAF hose as per OE so as to retain positive crankcase ventilation.

I did try venting it to the atmosphere but didn't seem to gain (or loose) anything and also found it could be a bit smelly in town when hot.

I got virtually no oil residue in my MAF hose and intercooler etc, probably around a 90% reduction and as I said it seemed to catch just about all the condensation.

I went for a custom set up on my 3B, no return to sump, had to be emptied every couple of thousand miles but seemed to do the job very well, mostly condensation especially in the winter.

    started a topic catch can

    catch can

Has somebody done a good catch can modify so the smell from e85 is not there ?

The only way is not recycle the oil if you really want to eliminate all that is not good , condensation and so on, empty it from time to time ?

    Correct ?
Working...
