O2 sensor heater and lambda control issue
I don't have very much first hand experience with these old cars but my 3B takes more than 5 minutes (maybe 7?) to go from open loop to closed loop (with outside temp around +5 to +10 C). I'm guessing this isn't normal?
I checked the heater +12 and - at the plug and it light a 220mA test light nicely. The original sensor heater was 5,8 ohms which should be good. I swapped in a new Bosch sensor but nothing changed.
Any suggestions what to check or do? Or is this proper behavior from such an old car (I doubt)?
