Hey I noticed that my fuel lines were looking a bit ratty so I will be changing them steel braided ones. While Im there though I was thinking of replacing the fuel pump to a bosch 044 since I plan on doing a turbo swap later in the ummer. First I was wondering if in my car, 1990 coupe quattro, I have an internal or external pump?I know I should go check but its still a bit cold. Second would I need a large pump like the 044 for 450-500hp, or would something else do the job? Finaly would running such a large pump on the stock 7a injectors/motor damage anything since the motor isn't using all of the fuel, or would a fuel pressure regulater solve this?
