    Wiring for oil temp sender

    HI there,

Last year i swapped my KV engine for a RE2500 engine. But the Temperature senders (beneath crank pulley) were different, i tried swapping the sender but the thread sizes were different.

My old sender had a single screw going into it to secure a single eyelet connection. Where as this other sender has two spade connectors on it.

How do i wire it up? ive tried sticking the wire on each spade, and also tried wiring to one spade and grounding the other (how it is now), neither works.

Is my sender screwed? cos sometimes on high revs, i get the guage flicking to the high temp extreme?

    Cheers,
    James
