2.5 Bar is pretty low, should have "cured" the problem. So still blowing black makes no sense unless those injectors are massively too big OR one or more of them are leaking like stuck pigs, regardless off the duty cycle the ECU is telling them to operate under.

    ok

thanks guys, i know it would be best to get a mapping, but not easy out here. I did try to lower pressure, as the chip was made for 4bars. I lowered it all the way to 2,5bars, but still black smoke... aah **** I am going standalone..

You need to buy the correct injectors, you should be able to get good money for the RS2 ones anyway.

This really is a no goood, you'd need a custom map.

Any Tuners worth their salt won't provide a generic map for this kind of setup as there are too many unknown variables.

IF you want a "generic" chip then you have to have all the hardware that goes with that chip, not a mix of what you have available and what the chip tuner thought you would have. You need everything the same.

In the short run, try dialing back the fuel pressure regulator. Sounds like the chip is trying to dial back the duty cycle on the injectors but even at the lowest duty cycle it has in the map, the differential pressure across the injector is so high, there is more fuel than the chip really wanted.

By the way, I think tuning by FP regulator is a really dumb way to go. However, in this case, it might just get you out of a bind until you get the hardware that is required by the chip.

    yes

it is possible but it will take 5days with ferry, and + + days for tuning so on. Thats a little to much for a tuning sesscion. And the ferry is expensive also, so better with a generinc one

Aint it possible to take a ferry from Island to the mainland? Then you could get a proper remap instead of a generic chipset.

  • Generic chip only blowing black smoke (help!!)

Hello i bought a generic chip from sweden, made for 465ccm injectors and rest rs2 stuff, but i did not have 465ccm injectors so i put in my rs2 injectors, (i know i should use the once recuiered) but the issue is it, is running way too rich. only black smoke????? Dont get this??

Where can i get a generic chip for my setup Garret T04e, rs2 injectors and ex.manifold, 3"catless system, 040fuelpump by bosh, adjustable fuelpressure.

I tried Mrc, but they did not have any, i am waiting on reply from paul and pogea, any one else i can try. There is not any other way for me, No tuners here on the island
Working...
