Seem that my car was getting to smoke out.
The sympthom is when I started the engine
for approx. 3 mins.Either cold or hot start.
The car will start to burn oil.I need to
Rev the engine up to blow all the oil out of
the exhaust then the smoke is gone.If I switched
off the engine though a very short period and on
the engine again. The car will begin to smoke again.
When cruising on the high way I didn't see any smoke
at the back(the smoke is probably out but lesser).
I've listed 4 suspicious in my mind.(As long as I had
been experienced this issue for over 2years ago.I lost one AAN
motor at that time because the mechanic's faulty.)
1.Turbo
2.Breather system
3.Valve seals
4.Rings.
As long as I have another 2 K24 on my hand.So I replaced last week.
but seem the sympthom is still around.so yesterday I also replaced
the regulating valve for the crankcase ventilation system (the black
one on the left flange of the engine look like 710n BPV).Finally,
It didn't help.
I removed the spark plugs to see if there's any oil dips
on the top of the cylinder. But there ain't anything
goes wrong.
The Valve seals has been replaced 1.5 years ago since I had
the used AAN motor on my car.the motor is very low mileagues.
I also replaced the PCV(the one located underneath the IM with
2 small rubber boots.) 2 years ago.
The car is running great with stock chips, stock turbo. It hit
240km/h very quick.the idle is smooth .No leak down, that's why I keep
the rings as my last list.
Now The car is sitting at the garage for A/C system job.I also ask
him to replace my 3rd K24.If it's still smoke out.I'd write the turbo
off my list.Thinking to do the compression test next. Finally,For the
valve seals,rings.
Need all your helps.
