Hi, i have installed in my car a chip recently from Germany, and i was hopping to get a higher MPG, but it was not so, i now average abou 14l / 100km in mixt condition, and i always had the impresion that car is running a little hot, so i did a vagcom log on channle 000 - 0001 - 0003.
I did a couple of woots, one till 200kmh, and what i noticed :
Ambient temperature 19C on display, and water temp never exceded 90C on bord scale. Intake temperature seems awfull high ? at least in idlee, but what about ingnition advance, related to rpm, and lambda ? And why over 10C difference in water temp from VagCom and the one showed on display ? And one more thing, with the old chip, i could not see any groups but 000, with this one, a can see all groups
