After head fiasco all is well :)

I would like to thank Martyn and Alan at Vagparts for their efforts in getting me mobile again, I know the post screwed up when time was tight but they did everything possible to correct it. and now with 350 ish miles since the repair i opened it up the first time the other night/morning and hit 150 no problem with more to go. The enging sounds sweet as a nut and the new samcos are spot on. I need the intercooler mod doing and the rear diff mount is still on the to do list. but now its brakes again. I am in the process of making 4 crank locking tools as the prototype i made worked 100% with no problems, mine had a monster 56mm open ended spanner reacting onto an axle stand whereas the ones i am making will react against the snub mount. Once made they will be available for anyone who needs one. And they follow the design done by some one hear a few months back:
