    Right then.........
Took advice and spoke to hoffer, 1 set of injectors and 1 ecu rebuild later, with the addition of a wagner cast EM lo and behold, the car goes like absolute stink! dunno what hp is going on but it it faaaast! Highly reccommend the upgrade. at least 350-370 hp, now am looking for bottlenecks!!! lambda probe made an unpleasant appearance but once disconnected(then replaced) the car does 20 odd mpg and gives well over 1.6 bar! very happy!!! New car feeling!!!!
In fact, my gauge that reads up to 25psi is now too small, and I need a 2 bar gauge!!!

Ok..looks like the car is in for a treat, gonna flog the bike to help fund it!

I'm off to the ring at the end of june, and being as I have had the car for 3 years, its about time I made it right for the journey, I am also getting a bit aggravated by local spotty scooby drivers going round like bumble bees with a misfire.

Rods should be ok ,theres many a mapped RS2 on standard rods ,its high tourque at low rpm that can bend rods ,also spark hop on the 3b engine ,i have 425 lb\ft on a k26 turbo and still going well on stock rods

Is it necessary to get rods, or can I take care with it do you think?

Am i right in thinking that if I bolt this onto my car now(it is mapped on a stock turbo to a good 290), it will run like a bag of the proverbial? I will need to get it mapped, so if you can help, thanks a lot :~)
