Well maybe you are beyond help :-)
iat is measured by current thru a thermistor that has a fixed reference voltage across it - say5v - you can measure volts all day long and learn nothing or do as I suggest and measure current instead.
iat sensor temp=volt

the stock ecu is thrown in the trash can.
need the data for my new engine management system. (dont now the correct word.)

you *must* insert an ammeter of suitable range between the ECU and the IAT sensor if you wish to measure its value without interfering with the ECU measurement.Leave a comment:

yes iam thinking about doing just that, but if someone hade the correct readings already it would help me greatly. just dont have the time right now and going for tuning on friday.Leave a comment:

This would make it easy to have a Gauge for it, get a Gauge 0..5V and a custom scale..
You could read the Volts a) when the engine is cold and b) when hot and read the temp with some other thermometer (or vagcom)
and estimate a linear behaviour
