    MFTS & Coolant pump thermoswitch

As some of you would have seen, we have put an AAN engine into a buggy and are now at (hopefully) what are the latter stages of the build.

IIRC there are two functions that the MFTS & Coolant pump thermoswitch can provide:

    1) As a feed for the gauge on the dash, use one of the wires (BR/Y) from the MFTS (which I understand is a sensor rather than a switch).

    2) A fan switch has not been incorporated into the design for the cooling system (whoops!). However, it looks like it will be possible to use the coolant pump thermoswitch instead. Unfortunately it switches at 110 degrees, rather than the 90ish degrees that would be more approprate.
Having checked the sticky entitled 'Turbo after run pump switch', it seems that one is available which switches at 90 degrees.
This seems to be a workable solution, at least on the face of it, but can anyone see any problems?
Perhaps the fan will be triggered before the thermostat opens to circulate the collant?
Maybe there is a better alternative?
