So then you are saying that the 7a part is made from metal? If that is the case that's just what I need. On my swap I need that water port to travel directly over the water pump mounting location so that it will connect to the lower passenger side of the radiator.

Yep i saw one on a ANN last week plastic for sure the ABY/3B/ADU can be turned 180 degs but its easier just to cut and weld!

As Jamo says your going to need to think about both

Would you have to change the water rail as well though?

Not sure which direction you are needing to go but I think the ABY (very similar to the AAN except with the reverse intake manifold) has a different thermostat housing than the AAN.

    Thermostat housing

I have run into a snag on my engine swap. Does anyone know if there was a steel version of the thermostat housing that would bolt onto an AAN? I need to change the direction that the neck leaves the block.
Working...
