I would like to ask as im contmplating rebuilding the cyl.head next year if there are any higher quality material that can be used for the rebuild, to increase longevity and ability to sustain high power application.
Within the limited search i did, and my limited knowledge of materials, i came up with some manganese-bronze valve guides which apparently are better (?)
also some berillium valve seats (?) not sure about this one, but what is a good quality seat to get?
Valves: Im contemplating not going any bigger, but if i do, that will be with the no bigger than 0.5mm option as i do not wish the distance between the spark plug thread and the valve seat to become too thin to affect longevity. Is that a fact by the way?
Can someone with previous experience give me a quick guide as to where to find these bits and if they are worth it? If not,what else can be used instead?
