Nice pdf link. Thanks.I think I have the original pictures of plugs, so way better resolution, just send me a PM with ur email adress and I will send them to you. Yep, you are right, back plug is speed limiter. Looking to this wiring schemes (http://privat.hihm.no/morten/ting/audi.c4.wd.56.pdf) I´ve noticed that the sigle spade is T1e, and is used with auto transmision only. Not sure about yellow one, could be T6ai (climatronic related), T6b (dont think so, but is listed as "yellow plug" ¿?), T6e (fog lights), T6m (Auto trans only) or T6v (radio related). No immo info in those schemes, so I dont discard it is related to it..... Cheers! Javi
As for the yellow connector with the F96 and black coding plug, it is more likely to be involved with the original cars autotrans or the immobilizer. I highly doubt that it is T6ai (because it would be a bit of a stretch to connector stn 2 (but it might be)). T6ai would be in position 4 of Connector Stn 2:

As for the previous suggestion, I checked in my Robert Bentley and also the link that you posted and this is what I find:
Starting on X62/36, the signal from the G22 Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) on track 196 goes to T6c/1 as brown/red wire. From T6c/1, it goes to T26/8 of the L10 instrument cluster, specifically the G21 speedometer. From there, it seems to flow through the L10, coming out from the L10/G21 at T26/7 as a 0.35 White/blue wire, going to track [64].
Track [64] is on X54/26. There it joins a bunch of bridged White/blue wires before going to T6a/3 on track [62] as a 0.5 White/blue. From T6a/3 it goes to both T55/50 in the ECU and T6/1 (the blue connector on Connector Stn 2). It leaves T6/1 at a 0.35 white/blue wire going to track [614] on X97/69 (which is an E87 climate control diagram). At [614] on X97/69 it goes into the E87 climate control at T16d/4, which is what I think pugslife had said. (The pdf doesn't show the "d" in T16d/4 very well but my hard copy of the Bentley is very clear, it is T16/d. )
I did include my email in my previous PM to you tonight but I will resend. Just a high res photo of the harness as indicated previously. I can edit down to the connectors in question after showing that part of the harness as a whole.Last edited by UrS4boy; 14 October 2012, 15:19.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the suggested change. I don't think I changed what pugslife had written on that one.In:
"T6 (no letter) - Blue 6 pin Connector (ECU to Climate Control head communication)
Connector Stn 2
1/6 White/Blue (0.5) Bridged with T6c/3 (Road speed signal, goes to Pin T16d/4 of the E87 A/C Climate
control head)"
I think is T16c/4, bk T16d/4 is for air flow flaps.
I did an indeep seacrh about aan looms in this threat (http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53424) and I only found the previous error. But according to the pictures in my threat, I have another 2 plug, a yellow one I suppose is something related to IMMO and a single spade.....
Anyway, NICE info, and feel free to ask for any pictures!
Sorry, I missed your AAN to 3B conversion thread last year. You did a great job BTW. I might have been able to contribute/help. For example, the black plug in your photo above is for the speed limiter coding plug (probably not used in Europe or the UK). (See below). I *might* borrow one or two of your photos. The spare AAN harness I have had some of its connectors clipped off by the muppet who took it out of an UrS6 (not me).

Fixed it:
I found and downloaded something called OpenOffice which allowed me to import the WORD doc and Export it as a pdf with "bookmarks" (which apparently also includes the hyperlinks that were active in the WORD doc).
Note: You will get the Security Warning thing. All the links are back to my home forum (quattroworld) and are 100% okay, but hey, have a look at the link before you click on "Allow".
Hope this works better for you.
Thanks again to Jay (Pugslife)for his initial work and to typ44quattro for the extra connector station 2 photos (if there is no photo credit, the photo is mine).
Enjoy
Feed back re: corrections and/or improvements, welcomed.

Non-working hyperlinks.
The first hyperlink (the "naked" URL to Pugslife's post) works but the others, with the text over the URL as htmls worked in the WORD version but do not work in the pdf.
Sorry about the non-working text-over-URL hyperlinks not working in the pdf. I'll have to try something else.

C4 AAN Engine Harness in Two parts - Part 2
The Passenger Compartment side
This was inspired by and is based on a post “AAN Loom” by pug’slife (Jay) on this forum.
I (UrS4boy) had the resources and time to chase down some missing info and/or correct some minor things that Jay was mistaken on (?) The descriptive text is a combination of Jay’s comments and my comments. (Thanks Jay) I have also added hyperlinks that should still be operable, even in the pdf form of this document. Hyperlinks are in blue.
To quote Jay, this has been kept as simple as possible and pictures should aid people who work better with images rather than text. Special thanks to Jay for starting this. Without his pioneering work, I would never have started this. (It turned out to be more work than I imagined)
I see that I missed a couple of photo credits at the very end (sorry Jay). I'll fix that next draft.
It is 1.74 Mb (sorry). Try the hyperlinks. They should work now.
Enjoy. (My head hurts so bad right now - time for a beer)
