Just been out to the car to start on the coil pack refurb the last owner had a new pack fitted prior to me buying the car. However i didn't realise that the guy that had fitted it had cut the wires from the pack short and joined it on to the original wires that are cracked in several places and have bare wire showing. By the look of them they have been cracked for a while also they are joined together by a spade connector and tape looks a right botch job. I would of thought he could of spliced it closer to the connector where it would not have cracks there is only 2" of wire from the pack left now. I stand in amazement at the lenths some people will go to save time but still charge the hour rate.
