Hello Gents
Been searching like a madman to find answers to my current dilemma...
I'm trying to finish up a trackcar project and this last 25% percent of the build is making me take it's sweet@$$ time, for sure.
Engine started out as a bone stock 7A in a 90q 20V and both bottom end and head were rebuilt. I'm not 100% sure if the machine shop torqued the front crank bolt to the proper spec and would hate to find out the hard way if they infact did not. The pulley does not have any of those nubs, notches or keyways for any of the 2084 locking type tools to hold onto....it's just the 4 allen head bolts and the monster crankbolt up in there. How can I verify that this bolt is properly torqued without resorting to an impact gun?
Do the 7A motors have their own 2084-type locking tool?
Have already tried car in 5th gear with another person standing on brake pedal....no go.
Cheers
