What is the conclusion on best method for crankcase ventilation on street cars? Stock system with a well designed catch/oil condensation can before the inlet tube? Haven't talked to 2Bennett about their setup for 20v i5 turbo: http://www.2bennett.com/Audi%20Crankcase%20vent.html -

I pryed it apart.
One way valve has been removed cleaned and checked for operation and all was found to be well.
Rusty, I may need to be speaking with soon regarding this

That's not going to cause lots of oil in the inlet... The poor design of the breather system combined with a not so new engine would though... Best off ditching the OE design for something that works
The PCV valve limits the inlet manifold connection sucking vapour out of the crank case & head. Hence Positive Crankcase Ventilation so it doesn't stop it completely.Leave a comment:

RJScotty: I have to think that your Item 20 one-way bleeder valve is not working properly, allowing full boost pressure to hit the diaphram in the pressure regulating valve, ripping it (over time).

So we are looking at your PCV system pressure regulating valve. But what exactly are you showing us (besides you cut it open)?
