EV14 injectors and Wagner IM - problems

Funny this ABY rail(?), because AAN rail can hold injectors tight even without clips. I didn't use clips with my EV14 with extensioners.

I dont use the clips either with extensions. i bought my injectors from thuppu a while ago. i had t slot the mounting hole for the fuel rail to get a good fit.

Fixed the injector, just need to find a way to hold them in the rail.

I would use spacers to raise the rail to the needed height and longer bolts to secure it to the intake.

I think I've got the injector working, carb cleaner and and air line, Just need to try it on the car now.

I have converted to an ABY rail, the clips are from the 3B rail, are the ABY ones different? Or can you buy clips that fit with these injectors?

Sounds like a duff injector, convert to an ABY fuel rail if possible

Worse than this though is that this injector doesn't work, it clicks when powered up but doesn't open.

60mm between the faces the O rings sit against, about 77mm overall.

The 3B clip isn't deep enough to go in the slot in the injector body and latch to the rail.

You've got the long injectors but how long in mm are they?, it still has the slots in it for the clips though

You may get away with the slotting of the mounting holes on the fuel rail then

Yes I had it, I got injector caps from finjectors that clip to the injector and the fuel rail and not just an interferance fit on the injector o-ring which are naff.

I then slot the holes on the fuel rail for the mounting bolts so I could adjust the height of the rail as required.

Injector clips don't fit and if you push on the connector the injector drops down and out of the rail. Then you get wet.

Anyone had this issue and know of a solution?
