50% joke and 50% of a working intake pipe. I had that setup swivelled below the intercooler so that the aircleaner was positioned on the left side airvent, where the ambient temp sensor is located. 1 meter of 3" plastic drain tube did the trick.

Have to say that I did not really feel any difference in the lag department with my Holset after I took the long tube off the intake for this current setup.

When the car was tuned we had the airfilter sticking straight out from the turbo where the right headlight normally sits. Would be the best place but little too provoke...

Not if you're still using a MAF on the intake side.

A shortened snub mount is still there, but only for crank locking. I have solid engine and gearbox mounts, so the snub mount isn't required anymore.

Hi, does this filter cope with the heat from the turbo? I have melted 2x K&N filters installed directly on the turbo cold side.
                  Regards Leif-H.

Internal DIA looks to large for my turbo cold side

Same location I had mine in originally. I had to lift mine as the filter got wet when the car was jet washed and I knackered the MAF.

And where is the oil cooler?

I cant use that position due to a larger oil cooker sitting there
