tps sensor & air temp sensor

    tps sensor & air temp sensor

    hiya, in my seemingly endless quest to cure my boost/missfire problem where abouts are the tps and air temp sensor located and what readings would i get from a multimeter to tell me if there knackered. i have an idea of which ones which but i'd like to just double check first.

    Air temp sensor is the little black one on top of the IM i believe? Am guessing the TPS is on the throttle body by the throttle cable somewhere.

    Dont know about any readings you should get but the info maybe on S2Central.net maybe?

      Yes - the graphs for IAT and CTS are on http://s2central.net - follow links to technical section and engine / motronic... The 3B area links to this data for now - its common to ABY of course.

          If your temp sensor is fooked, i have a new one from the dealer that i never fitted, still in its sealed bag.
