ok update
i have being made this weekend...
a handfull of 4 bolt turbo flanges and 3 bolt waste gate flanges, i have a correct diagram for a 2.5 to 3" tapered adaptor (same style as 034) this will take up 2" distance after turbo and obviosly give 3" outlet
im ordering all the relevant bends and flexis from jetex
and will be makeing the first one hopefully in the next few weeks, i will together on the car and the finished article will be tigged
it will end at the same place as stock downpipe , this joint i have not thought about yet...
i will be making notes, measurements and jig ........
any ideas on the rear joint , ill be matching up to a custom system and probably be using 3"vband?
my car has a 7a style center with no y piece at the mo and meets up to downpipe with no cat, i will follow suit with 2.75" and leave no room to fit cat
just to add the jetex rear silencer is 70mm but from what i can make out reduces down to meet the stock mid section (jetex never did a 70mm mid section)

A 2.75" rear might be restrictive on a monster turbo install, but isn't going to trouble anything up to 400bhp (ish) based on my gut feel. Many a chipped RS2 pumps out 360-380bhp on the stock exhaust with CATs too so lets not get carried away with an assumption that bigger is always better.
@Gary - can you measure the size of pipes on that Milltek system - or the back box at least - if its in good condition and you don't want it - I might make you a cheeky offer.
For the record i cant weld but i know a man that can for reasonable money so he will be doing itAudi A4 1.8Tq
