My 80 2.0 ABK uses that horrible Air Flow Meter system, not a regular MAF.
Why is it that I read many places that people can start and drive with the AFM disconnected? My 80 will not start or run if I disconnect it with running engine. Why?
Been searching quite bit.
The reason I ask is because I want to parallel install VEMS (maybe MS3) in the future. Its an automatic and I want to turbo it. If a parallel install, all sensors should be plugged in to the stock ECU so the TCU works.
Getting a turbo motor and manual trans is too expensive over here.
