I would like to fit a new steering wheel to my 2.0e Coupe 1995, but it currently has an airbag wheel.
Does anyone know if I can remove this and is there a hub/boss kit available for my car?

Hiya, you can remove the airbag wheel, not sure what you need to do in the way of precautions when taking it off though to stop it going off. Would guess you need to do something about the airbag light on the dash, assumeing there is one, probably take the bulb out or bridge the wires from the airbag? Hope someone else can varify that for you.
Im sure someone does a boss kit, was looking myself, try haveing a look on ebay, or any place that sell after market wheels, would imagine that a kit would suit any engined coupe of around that year?
Thanks for your advice Madwolf - i'm sure someone must sell a hub kit for my car and as for the airbag wheel i think i will let a garage deal with this for safety reasons...

Hi,
little advice, whatever you choose to do, if you have to unmount steering whell don't forget to disconnect battery before doing your job !
You never know how Airbags can react (those strange animals )!!!
