    Shipping airbag steering wheel to Holland

    I have an S2 steering wheel with airbag that I want to send to a forum member in Holland. I didn't think it would be too difficult but having tried Interparcel and Parcel2Go - both recommended on here, I have discovered that neither will take an airbag (according to the info on their websites). Airbags are listed separately on both their lists of prohibited goods, in the case of Parcel2Go there is a note to say that they were only added to the list last month.
    The other company I have seen mentioned on here is PayperParcel who don't specifically mention airbags in their list but does include the following;

    •Dangerous goods - eg Explosives / Fireworks / Radioactive Materials / Deactivated or Replica Weapons and Munitions / Firearms / Swords / Knives / Weapons

    •Fire Extinguishers / Life Jackets

    •Hazardous materials eg Aerosols / Paint / Adhesives / Chemicals / Flammable resins, solvents, liquids / Compressed Air / Items containing any gases

    I rang PayperParcel and spoke to a woman who didn't appear to be that clued up but she said that she thought it would be OK to send an airbag. However, all these three companies appear to use DHL so I suspect that PayperParcel should be following the same rules.

    I've had a quick look at other companies like UPS, Parcel Force but their prices are unviable eg £60+! and I wouldn't be suprised if they don't like airbags either.

    Anyone have any experience of shipping an airbag or any ideas. Anyone going to Holland, or anyone from Holland coming over here in the near future!!
