ive got four i would say are excellent or above. another couple that are very good. i think ive only had got one i would describe as poor/average. i only kept it incase i was going to retrim in black.
maybe they're easier to get up north. as HORCH said, i don't think they're hard to find up here. hard to ship but not hard to find.
anyway, it sounds like a non-stock headliner is on the cards so there's no decision to make.

Has anybody had a headlining flocked? I'm going to get my dash and center console done. If I like it, I may just do the whole interior!Leave a comment:

just recover it. its cheap and easy. i did mine on the garage floor on a nice clean sheet that i could throw away after. i used some good quality spray glue and 20 quids worth of fabric very similar to the original plati
num. for my first attempt it went well and looks great.
the only thing id have done different was to do it in black. i think it would have looked cool. but.Leave a comment:

I refer to my above post - most people would settle for average condition ones. Try and find a mint one....Leave a comment:

I had a coupe and have an Avant and live in a dry country and my cars are taken care and had to retrim both because of perished foam and think it´s more to do with age + negative factors this foam as a life expectancy and than fails!
I have a black, no-sunroof coupe lining in very good condition (no peeling) and if any one is interested I´m open to offers!Leave a comment:

Depends on your definition of mint I suppose. Most peoples idea of mint is my idea of average
But last unmarked one I saw in platinum about £120 IIRC.Leave a comment:

Personally I would re-trim your existing one David, once the weather warms up of course
Mint ones do fetch some money, and are getting hard to find.Leave a comment:
