    Wow, so on second thought I am not picking one up on eBay. I guess I am spoiled by the fact the M1.x units can be found for ~US$50 pretty often. I will just stick to doing parallel work on the subsystems which are identical between the two units. Sorry about going off-topic...

      Atsome BMW forum I found something nobody meantioned yet.
      Motronic is expection a 0.1 - 0.9V signal, LC1 standard configuration is 1.1V.
      I changed this and during warm up/error I set 0.45V (Lambda 1), no DTC yet.

        The problem is not DTC, the problem is when you restart on hot engine with the gauge cold the fuel trim will run away without the patch i have in my software.

          When the Lambda signal is lambda 1 too?

            It depends how exactly "1" it is...
            A delay is all that is needed.
