Apart from fixings leeks today I have also installed this.
Alpine cde-9874rr £45 off ebay with ipod cable
Night and day difference in term's of sound quality compared to the old piece of **** Sony unit it replaced. I really like the built in high pass filter for the speakers and the subwoofer controls are also cool.
I have already put capacitors in series with my speakers to form a 6db slope at 120hz
Might remove these now as the High pass filter will take care of that.
If anybody is interested in making simple crossovers using capacitors see below.
