Interesting. My 94 C4 S4 V8 avant doesn't have those enclosures over the bigger rear door speakers. The reason might be the sub-woofer in the right rear storage cubby.

Hi. Yes the rear speakers should be inside a box.
I still have a complete set in my garage.

Do the rear doorcard speakers have an enclosure.(like the one with yellow lines) . I want to upgrade the speakers.
My car is an Competiton but it had OEM amplified rear door speakers.
