  • Audi 80 Competition bushings

Hello! I've recently acquired a very nice Audi 80 Competition that's in very good condition and I'm currently replacing some of its suspension elements and bushings.

I have access to a lathe so I plan on making my own bushings.

Is there a thread in the forum (I searched, but I didn't find one) that has dimension for someone who wants to make his own bushings?

The other question is about the material of the bushings. I've already made my inner tie rod bushings from Delrin (Polyoxymethylene) because I saw that you guys use it. I want to replace my subframe and control arm bushings also. Is Delrin again a good choice for both of these applications? I know that there are subframe bushings made of aluminum, so the Delrin will be somewhere in the middle of aluminum and polyurethane in hardness, but I've not seen anyone use Delrin for their subframe bushings, so is there a reason for that?

About the control arm bushings I know that there are Delrin ones so that's OK.
