Im Interested In A Sequential If You Can Get One , Forget The A4 Touring Car One The Drive Shafts Come Of The Top Of The Box So You Would Need To Drop The Engine About 8 Inches Just To Get Drive Shafts To Clear , If Shanche Can Produce Somthing I Would Def Be In Regards Gary

Price is going to be in that territory in my opinion - very specialised bit of equipment.

Good luck to anyone fitting such a thing to an S2.

Nearest thing I could suggest that might work is a seq-box from an A4 based DTM, TOCA or BTCC racing machine. It should be the right shape to mount where an 01E normally does. There can't be many such 'boxes lying around for sale though.

    Ferguson box IIRC....
Sequentials expensive, expect it to be £10k+ I know a friend with a peugeot 6speed sequential box that was £14k new. So i can't see an audi version being cheaper

Here is also a guy in Germany that made gearbox services in AudiSport. His last name is Hans Kluge. He now has his own company.

I'm interested also. Let me know when You will find something.

One of two gearboxes I have found is this one made by AudiSport

"The transmission is a 6-speed sequential unit that allows for clutchless shifting. The gearshift is moved backwards for upshifts and forwards for downshifts. Though that sounds similar to Audis Tiptronic transmission, the similarities end there. While the Tiptronic transmission is an automatic programmed to change gears based on driver inputs, a sequential shifter is a manual transmission with a hydraulically actuated clutch allowing quicker shifts than either a manual or Tiptronic could provide.

The transmission was augmented to handle the increased power output of the A4 Touring Cars engine and mated to a single dry plate clutch made of carbon fiber. In addition, the center, front and rear differentials of the quattro system have been strengthened to help reliably put the power to all four wheels."

The other is the gearbox used in KRB Audi Coupe. I don't remember the name
