I have a diff that needs taken apart so i started by measuring the output flanges and got .40-.45mm on the left hand side with a factory spec of .2-.5mm. Right side i cant find or make any sense of the workshop manual but i measure ~.80mm. Seems like a lot of slop to me, and that was the side that was leaking badly passed the seal.
Question is has anybody ever measured the clearances on the rear diff output flanges, and if so what kind of numbers did you get?
Next question will be the end float of the diff itself, again any numbers would be great as a reference if you got em
