It looks like the gear knob of a mk1 TT. Nice looking motor. Keep an eye on the coolant level. That looks to be a Nissens rad and they a know to crack around the lower mount. I have one fitted to my S2 and got it reinforced with some extra soldering.

Very easy to flush coolant. Get some rad flush (check it says safe for all systems). Add into coolant bottle. Drive around for an hour or so. Undo bottom hose (when cool) and drain. Flush from top with hose and clean water. Replace hose and 're fill with anti freeze mix. Best then unscrew the three screws that hold the coolant bottle on and hold it up high while running engine on tick over with cap off to release air trapped.
Most of use are using red anti freeze which last 5 years as opposed to blue (which the car came with originally) which only lasts two years. You can't mix them!

Yeah not sure fella was from luton..yeah i pulled out some coolant yesterday it it although was red wasn't as translucent as i would have liked.. easy job or a ball ache? My closest audi specialist is Quattro tech although i don't think they have had an S2 in when I told him the the year manufactured he said Jesus lol.. i'm in Essex right on the border to Cambridge and Suffolk if anyone can suggest anyone else??

Someone has spent some money on her. Roose hoses, coil pack conversion. Was it owned by a forum member previously? I think you need to flush your coolant though.

That is a hot looking ride! I do like the cream coloured leather against the black exterior.

Can anyone tell me why there was a difference in placement of the cigarette lighter location? As you see here on this S2, next to the handbrake and one that had the lighter actually in the ash tray?
