if mapped properly then no, hoffer's been driving that for ages now as far as I know and it gets abused but still fine.

two statements that do not go well together , for advice i would look at it as a long term love affair or reduce your hp dreams to around 350hp
    Agreed.

Chipped RS2 spec would make a good daily and an affordable target.

Remember lots have people have been on here for years, and seen loads of newbies with rash ideas.

    Best wishes.

I'm planning quite a bit for the car involving a full re-spray and subtle body mods, I know what looks good, but unfortunately I dont know squat about engine's, so hopefully some of the S2 nerds on here can direct me in the right direction or in the case of my 12 year old daughter 'one direction'

Anyway apart from the styling which I dont need anyhelp with, I am looking to get around 450hp from the Avant so any info and guidance on what to buy for the engine would be hugely appreciated, and as like many others I do not have stupid amounts of money to pour into it It's a daily driver at the end of the day!

Sorry to jump in on your thread here Simon but it seemed quite relevant to me also
