Hi all, as i have bought Keiths old Ruby red s2 Avant (BBW) from him a couple of weeks ago i thought i would pop a hello up from me. So far loving S2 ownership, very versatile car, wish i had bought one years ago. I will try and make it the best i can funds allowing, i have to say i am quite smitten by the a Avant and hope to have it for a very long time, cheers for now, Simon.

I totally agree I've also just bought a Avant (1995 in Volcano Black, Homefries ECU, de cat pipes, RS2 exhaust and running around 290hp) and I also wish Id bought one of these years ago

I'm planning quite a bit for the car involving a full re-spray and subtle body mods, I know what looks good, but unfortunately I dont know squat about engine's, so hopefully some of the S2 nerds on here can direct me in the right direction or in the case of my 12 year old daughter 'one direction'

Anyway apart from the styling which I dont need anyhelp with, I am looking to get around 450hp from the Avant so any info and guidance on what to buy for the engine would be hugely appreciated, and as like many others I do not have stupid amounts of money to pour into it It's a daily driver at the end of the day!
