  • Rieger RS2 body parts

The Rieger RS2 offerings for the front bumper and bonnet grille look to be well made (from ABS plastic) and are reasonably priced, but the photos on their website are somewhat poor.

Who has got these on their S2?

What is the build quality like? How well do they fit?

Are they a straight bolt-on to the S2? Any assembly problems?

Does anyone have some decent pics of them on their car?

    Cheers,

Well Iam really satisfied with the material of the Rieger bumper.

    I got it on.

Build quality is very nice compared to the glasfiber bumpers. It fits well, but you have to make your own brackets.

I can take more shots of the bumper today since it is going of to install my water spray system

But a couple of links to start with:

      Hi there Jonas,

I just followed your links ("http//" is in there twice, btw, so they dont follow straight through) and it certainly looks very good and authentic (OEM) and a good fit.

Other than the brackets you needed to have made for the indicators and foglights, did all the other fitments work out OK? (ie to the wings and undertray) Do you simply re-use the S2 fittings here?

How about the headlamp washers? Did you re-use the S2 plumbing?

Are the RS2 indicators & foglights easily available at a sensible price?

The photos in the project didn't show the RS2 bumper mesh. Have you fitted that now?

Finally, is the bonnet grille also Rieger (or OEM)?

Oh, yes some more pics would be good

No problems with wings or undertray. However you need to drill holes in the wings yourself I have never owned a original S2 bumper myself, so dont know which fittings there is, but fits perfectly. I only made the brackets and the drilled the holes, that was it.

RS2/porsche lights are not cheap, can remember the price but was rather expensive.

Iam not running any mesh, but Rieger supplies some but I aint using it.

I but the bonnet grill a long time ago, but as far as I recall it is from Rieger.

Here are a couple of shots:

            Will take more tomorrow.

how about the indicators (turning signals)? are they also different (special RS2/Porsche) or the same as the S2?
