      it is NLA from Audi/TPS....

is there much difference from a LUK to a genuine version?..

after reading postings on here there has been references to vibration passing through the car with a SM as apposed to a DM flywheel....this has mainly been people who have changed from DM to SM....

IIRC OEM unit is LUK anyway

as for the vibration, ive been in a few with SM but never noticed, i will make a point of looking for it next time i get one

There is a difference between the two yes, you will notice the rawness and it's not as smooth, I want to go back to dual mass as southbend do a clutch that would hold power

Ask Pete in Quattrocorner as he supplied a dual mass flywheel to the previous owner of my car, as Wab says it would have been sourced directly from the manufacturer.

I drove a 3B the other day with a lightweight alloy flywheel and was so much nicer to drive, the dual mass makes the engine feel heavy and lazy IMO. Given the choice i would ditch the dual mass setup in a heatbeat.

Agreed they rev out more sweetly... the smoothness of DM is very nice of course but I also prefer the raw edge to the SMF cos the engine loves the weight loss.

mmm - best get a 2nd opinion - always thought AAN/ABY/ADU items to be transferrable there - same crank, same block, same gearbox (01E)
